For property divisions: Divisions of Real Property Accounts are initiated through the Planning, Building or Permit Department of the appropriate jurisdiction. When that process is complete and all documents are recorded, GIS & Parcel Management will process the changes; make appropriate changes to the tax roll; and maintain the Assessor maps accordingly.

If the home is located on real property call 503-988-3326. As of May 2005 the duties, functions and powers relating to ownership records for manufactured structures were transferred from Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS). The County staff at Assessment, Recording & Taxation act as agents for DCBS and accept applications for ownership and location changes on their behalf.
Please be prepared to pay the taxes in full, by check or certified funds. The manufactured structure change processing fee is $55.00.
